The Data
At the intersection of data, dance, fashion, and physical therapy, the Global Movement Imprint Research Lab explores how human gatherings and shared spaces influence movement patterns and migration. By capturing, analyzing, and preserving cultural, traditional, and ritual dances, the Lab supports advancements in physical therapy, rehabilitation, and preventative care for athletes, performers, and the physically active public. Utilizing motion capture technology, biomechanical analysis, and embodied design, we contribute to the preservation of human heritage while fostering innovation across health, research, and creative industries.
